"Got there well past check in and the desk person told us she didn’t even think our room was ready. She left the 10 minutes later said it was ready. We walked in and the floor was soaking wet. Used a towel to dry it and the towel was BLACK. Toothpaste was on the wall between the bathroom and the door. You could see the dirt lining the walls. Best part was the giant roach that ran across the floor running across my daughter’s foot the morning we were getting ready to leave the room. 10/10 don’t recommend"

"Our stay at The Secluded Sanctuary was absolutely wonderful! The property was true to all of the pictures and exceptionally clean. The layout was incredibly roomy and comfortable, making it easy for us to relax and settle right in.The location is the best of both worlds—it truly feels like a quiet sanctuary, yet it is conveniently close to plenty of shopping and restaurants. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, and the check-in/out process was seamless and stress-free. We also really appreciated that the house rules were very reasonable and common for any homeowner—nothing over the top. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We’re excited to stay here again and would highly recommend this home to anyone!"

"I am a disabled female confined to a wheelchair due to a broken hip. I paid for a 2 Bed Room REQUESTING a room on the FIRST Floor because I am unable to climb the 12 steps they have to the second floor at this location. I requested a First Floor Room online on HOTELS.Com website. Upon arrival at 7 PM the manager advised me my room was on the second floor and there were no elevators at this motel. I asked him if anyone on the first floor who had not checked in if they would be willing to switch to the second floor with two beds. He said NO without 1 ounce of compassion towards my situation. Please be advised this Motel is not in a safe area in case you're traveling with young children. The manager would not refund the money I prepaid for our 2-Night Stay in Gainesville."
