"We were all impressed with the house and all that it offered. The only 4 star rating I gave was for online description- it said to bring your own life jackets and I don’t recall it mentioning anything about having camper chairs onsite. We ended up bringing those items, which we could have bypassed if we would have known better. Outside of that, this property was amazing. Perfect place to escape everyday busyness and enjoy your family. It was super hot when we were there, so having some indoor activities onsite was perfect, and the kayaking and fishing were great for evenings. We were highly impressed with the cleanliness, organization, affordability, and comfort this place offered. 100% recommend and would go back if ever in the area again. "

"We REALLY needed an overnight stop in Hartsburg while biking the Katy Trail! About 20 miles per day is our limit!!! Your emergemcy stash of food for sale covered our lunch need, while we waited for the restraunt to open for supper. The caboose is a cute stay but probably way more comfortable when it is not so hot outside. The a/c made a valient effort to manage the temp. Thanks so much! "
