"What a fabulous little gem in Highland Lakes, NJ. The owners were fantastic and approachable, the cottage is updated with all the regular amenities that you would want. The first morning we saw two swans a hundred yards off of the dock followed by two red-headed Pileated Woodpeckers that came into the trees in the yard, simply magical in the winter morning. "Needed a quiet spot to rest the mind with the wifey. This place did just that. It was end of fall season and it mostly rained on the weekend we stayed but the quietness and tranquility was nice. Inside it is just as you see in the pics. Very clean and with everything you need. It’s quite small inside but they really accommodated everything inside to still keep it roomy and not cluttered.
