"This is the best choice for the surrounding area at this price level and fine for one night. Glad that we got a room on the opposite side of the building from the freeway. Room was quiet, bed decent, shower recently remodeled and was water hot. The Indian restaurant nearby was pretty good."

"This property is convenient to Buttonwillow race track via Magnolia and is head and shoulders above the alternatives unless you go all the way into Bakersfield. "

"We always stay here when we visit my son and his family. We love it. Great rooms, good breakfast & excellent customer service. Wish the rates were lower, but it’s the only decent hotel around. "

"The convenience of this hotel is what makes it great. Right off of I-5 so you don’t have to go further into Bakersfield. The staff was friendly, and the pet area was great! We mentioned we had a pet, and they secured us a room right by the pet area, so we didn’t have to go too far. It’s a little older, but the room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint would be how loud some of the passing trucks on I-5 are, but that is out of their control. "

"Our stay was very comfortable. The litttle kitchnette was a bonus and breakfast was a nice added treat. Definitely would stay again."
