"What a delightful surprise we found at this roomy, well kept cabin right in McKenzie Bridge. The location was ideal not only for the hiking and sites, but also being a one-minute drive from two delicious restaurants was a huge plus. The only drawback was not being situated directly on the river, but the host was kind enough to allow us to walk through a few gates and use their beautiful deck. We came from Texas and had never seen a part of the country quite this beautiful. We will definitely be back!!"

"My only three down sides were that there was no oven, there were not many easy paths to reach the river, and we lost power for 5 hours the first night. Other than that, the property was lovely and relaxing."

"This is our second Fourth of July staying at this wonderful property and I have already booked Fourth of July for 2027. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils and everything you need for cooking. The property manager was prompt at replacing a broken coffee pot.We love the screened in porch and wish there was an opportunity for a daybed or something to sleep out there it’s so lovely. Another thing about the property that I wish was different, is the noise coming from the upstairs. If you have someone staying upstairs and you are sleeping downstairs, every movement up there is loud. If you are a soft sleeper, I would recommend taking the upstairs bedroom. Otherwise, you will hear every footstep and movement. Nonetheless, we enjoy our stay here and look forward to next year!"

"We found the property incredibly clean and well furnished. It is airy and full of light. The screened in porch is a huge perk for lounging or taking your first cup of coffee of the day. Who am I kidding….there isn’t a time of day that wouldn’t be amazing on the porch. The orientation of the home on the lot, gives wonderful views of the river from most any window. The kitchen is very well equipped for making all of your meals at home. Perhaps dining on the porch?We visited the area with our young adult kids. It was ideal for our purposes. I would imagine that younger children would find the large common grass area a joy. There are trees all along the river bank that add to the feel. The river itself is just seconds away from the back door.The host is a great communicator. He is quick with answers and suggestions. So quick that I picture him staring at his phone all day. There are some very accessible waterfall trails, along with Clear Lake and its recreational options nearby. Or, you could simply enjoy that porch all day.We will, without a doubt stay here again."
