"I liked the peace and quiet of the property. We had everything we needed. It is basic furniture in the rooms ie plastic chairs no headboard on the bed but all essentials and room was clean. Good sized refrigerator with small freezer that even kept my ice cream frozen!! Nice! It’s great that one or two of the little markets are open every day because you can’t eat dinner at most restaurants during the week so have to drive or have cold or microwaved dinner. Howard’s Station was delicious for breakfast or lunch just across the street."

"For a Sheraton, you expect a little better. This property is ok. If you want to order food from the restaurant, it's always a long wait to get your food as they don't have much staff. Sometimes it's only the bartender. I swear it takes so long to get your food that he must be running to the back to cook it too! Lol. Food is just ok. Very annoying that the hotel shares a huge parking lot with other businesses, yet charges a daily parking fee. Feels so nickle and dime."

"Great location at an affordable price for access to Tomales Bay with beautiful views, good staff, clean and comfortable lodgings. Although Wi-Fi is provided, go there to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings! The on site restaurant is pretty good, serving local fare and delicious cocktails alongside great views of the dock and bay- just don’t expect to get breakfast there as they only open for lunch and dinner."

"We were looking for a property with a beach so we could assemble and launch our double folding kayak for two or three days - without having to disassemble it after every paddle. We were thrilled to find this beautifully appointed studio with three perfect, charming, deck areas. One above the water, another large, fairly private deck, protected from wind, and another one, equally protected, off the kitchen. This property as a storied history which we read about in the binder provided. The kitchen has everything we needed to make our simple meals. Antique furniture, lots of books, games, DVDs, WiFi, a beautiful bathroom, a gas powered hearth for chilly nights make this a cozy, perfect place to relax. We discovered a fascinating book in the bookshelf: The History of the Point Reyes Peninsula. We bought a copy on our way home in the Point Reyes bookstore. And we met a wonderful neighbor and his wife who told us a few stories about the area and the property specifically. All in all we were absolutely happy and satisfied with our stay. We are also grateful to B., one of the owners, who greeted us warmly and shared a few stories. A note for paddlers. Check the tide and weather well before you arrive. At low tide the water retreats quite a way - but Millers Boat Launch with ramp is only a 4 minute drive away. We have launched our kayak there in the past before we thought of staying at this wonderful vacation rental. "
