With the shores of Payette Lake just a few blocks away and downtown McCall within two miles, your inviting home away from home has it all. Outdoor enthusiasts will have a field day thanks to the plethora of activities available nearby. Go horseback riding at Ya-Hoo Corrals, sailing and stand-up paddle boarding at Payette Lake, whitewater rafting at Riggins on the Salmon River, mountain biking and hiking at Ponderosa State Park, or swimming at Davis Beach. During the colder months, hit the slopes at Brundage Mountain Resort and Jug Mountain or rent a snowmobile and take your own scenic tours of the area.

After exciting days out and about, step inside and unwind in the comfortable living area. Start up the fireplace for a cozy ambience and watch your favorite streaming service on the smart TV or head out to the well-equipped kitchen to prepare anything from a light snack to entire meals for the group to enjoy. During the warmer months, take advantage of the gas grill to sear your meals to perfection. Indulge in your hearty meals indoors or dine alfresco to feel the crisp Idaho air on your face. While outside, go for lovely expeditions on the water, courtesy of the two provided kayaks, whenever you like. For some friendly competition, take out one of the included board games or head out to the garage for some Ping-Pong, foosball, badminton, or air hockey. In winter, end your days here by the firepit outside roasting s'mores and gazing at the stars before heading back inside and blissfully falling asleep in one of the bedrooms.

Frustrated and cold
We rented for the hot tub after skiing. We arrived after driving 7 plus hours with a broken hot tub. We were never notified. The house was dirty (I have photos and sent them to the management company and no one responded) the house was extremely cold and we tried everything to heat it up. Several heaters did not work and we used the oven and a fire to get warm. A man was sent with a space heater from Vacasa. With not one tool we barely got it together so it would work, and the two times we spoke on the phone, he was rude. We cleaned up really well and left this morning

Great Escape for the Holidays
We booked here over Thanksgiving and it ended up being a great time! The house was clean and comfortable with all of the necessary items in the kitchen. It took us a minute to figure out the heat, but we managed to get it nice and warm for the family. I do think there may be a leak or service needed on the hot tub as the water level was low enough that we didn't use the jets. Overall though, this was an excellent stay and one we will keep on our list!

Great little getaway. Just what we needed on our 15th anniversary. The hot tub was a great asset.

The place was dirty. Smelled like cleaning solution was used extensively to cover pet urine smell. Garbage disposal, washing machine, and tv in bedroom did not work. Knew about the washing machine, runner tried to fix tv.There was very little toilet paper and paper towels, was rectified by manager when informed. Light outside master bd door was useless. Would not recommend staying here.

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty…
Both the showers had hair in the drain. The master bath smelled like mildew. The master bedroom reeked like pet urine. We closed the master bedroom door to keep the odor in the back half of the house. We did not use the back half of the house. (I hope the sheets were washed). The washing machine was broken (and per reviews last year, the washing machine was broken then). The ice maker was broken. The hot tub leaked and needed to be refilled regularly. There was only two rolls a toilet paper for a 7 day visit. We had a hornets living in the interior of the hot tub. The garbage disposal was broken. They did send someone out to spray the hornets and offered to send out a carpet cleaner. BUT WE PAID A FORTUNE IN FEES and don’t want to deal with maintenance people. This is the dirtiest VBRO we have ever rented.

Great, quirky house.
The house is really nice (much bigger kitchen & living room than the pictures make it look) with some great amenities. The deck is great and shaded in the afternoon heat, the hot tub and yard are nice to have as well. The master bedroom was beyond spacious, and very comfortable! The garage was messy with random tools and odds and ends, but we never really used it. The house has some odd quirks though. The master bathroom fixtures are SHORT (our 4 year old could reach the faucet flat-footed and I had to hunch to wash my hands) and the very cool rock shower has a window looking out on…the bed. The light switches are just bizarre: they are different heights on the wall, the one in the guest bedroom doesn’t do anything, the switch just inside the master bedroom door turns on the lights on the far side of the room while the switch by the bathroom turns on the lights near the door, etc. That being said, none of the quirks outweighed the great aspects of the house!

Pleasant Stay, But Needs Improvement
Pros: - Easy check-in - Close to town - Great master bdrm Cons: - Cleanliness concerns - Not as described - Deferred maintenance The check in process was great, straightforward; loved the text and email communication with lockbox code. Also, the tvs, soundbars, cable boxes, etc are not user friendly, but Vacasa responded within 24 hours to try to assist in getting things up and running for our stay. The property lacked cleanliness, maintenance, and was not as described: - Overflowing exterior trash can that animals spread everywhere the first night we were there, dirty barbecue to use, mushrooms going in the master shower, hot tub water had lots of floaties, bed sheets had pet hair embedded in them, etc.. - The outdoor and indoor games had many missing, broken, moldy pieces, the hot tub jets and filtration system appeared broken, excess wires and cabling all over the exterior of the home that should be cleaned up for safety and esthetics. - The property description states it comfortably sleeps 8 adults, with 1 king, 1 queen, 1 double, and two twins. This is inaccurate; there is 1 king, 1 queen, and 1 bunk bed with a double and twin. It would "comfortably" sleep 4 adults and 3 children at best. All things considered, I would stay again, but not at the same cost; it was nearly 1k total for 3 nights and definitely wasn't worth that.

Wonderful home in a great location.
This house was perfect for our little post covid family reunion. We took advantage of the hot tub, horseshoes, ping pong and foosball tables and the fire pit. The master shower was definitely a highlight, too. The property managers were prompt and efficient in adding more water to the hot tub when we asked. There was plenty of room for all five of us and our dog, the master bedroom is huge!
