Right beyond the fairgrounds is the entrance to Big Lake and Ahjuwami Lava Springs 3 miles down this dirt road I love the quail on the post if you look closely at the picture
Sun preparing to set in this remote state park just east of McArthur by 3.5 miles. To reach the park go east on Main Street after 1/2 mile veer right and cross over the McArthur Diversion Canal. Follow the unmarked dirt road another 3 miles to Rat Farm boat launch and voila you're there!
To actually access the park (which is boat in only) you need a kayak or shallow boat to paddle across Big Lake
