Hotel Isola Bella
8/10 Good
"So, we booked this hotel because of the location near Isola Bella. Hotel is not updated, does not have parking, although there is paid parking lot adjacent but not connected to property and only open 8:30am to 7:00pm. Cars/motorcycles noise all day/night, and very limited parking to even get your luggage on and off, your car or taxi, and no walkway to walk to funicular/beach: you have to walk in the street with cars/motorcycles speeding by your side. For me it was stressful. Funicular to the nice Corso Umberto Street is 5 blocks away and costs $8 euros each way. All that said, if you booked any sea view room, from your balcony you have one of the best views of Isola Bella island and the hotel was walking distance to the beach. We ended up staying another night in Taormina, but we moved to a great hotel near Corso Umberto street with another great view but near restaurants, shopping, splendid views and attractions."

"The room (off-site) & linens were very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend staying in the main building, more attractive and close to the pool, breakfast buffet and beautiful gardens. Staff helped me book boat tours and airport transportation. I’d recommend this hotel and I’d stay here again, great location too"

"The hotel and room were excellent my only complaint was we were not able to checkin until 3:15pm. As An Amex Platinum member I guess I am spoiled with always getting early checkins.The four seasons got us a room at 11:00am."
Delta Hotels by Marriott Giardini Naxos

"Our stay was good at the Delta Giardini Naxos. The hotel amenities are good and the common areas are very nice. The breakfast was very good with plenty of fresh options. However, the bedroom is VERY outdated and it wasn't sparkly clean. They need to renovate the bedrooms. Also, the hotel is not very accessible and family friendly. A big shoutout to Mario and Aurora who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs!"

"Beautiful location with spectacular views We had a wonderful stay at Panoramic Hotel in Taormina. The location was fantastic, and our room had an incredible view of Isola Bella — it was so close, it felt like we could practically reach out and touch it! After spending the day walking around Taormina, having a pool at the hotel was a real bonus. It was the perfect place to relax and cool off at the end of the day. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming and an excellent base for enjoying everything Taormina has to offer. The combination of the beautiful setting, stunning views and pool made this a memorable part of our Sicily trip. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it."

Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

"The hotel was new and modern. Had all the amenities. A draw back was a very expensive taxi ride to Taormino and back again. The area was not really in a great walkable area although we did walk to a nearby beach about a mile away or so. The hotel did not have a beach or a beach shuttle which I thought I read they did. Disappointing. The beach club we went to had beds and umbrellas at a cost of course. The hotel rep said theirs was closed but all the others were still open. Not sure what that was about."
Ampio e Panoramico Appartamento a due Passi dal Mare, Vista Unica su Isolabella

"We stayed 10 nights mid-Sept and had a fantastic holiday. Carmelo met us at the apartment as planned and was very welcoming and showed us around. The apartment was very clean and spacious (for 2) and had everything we needed and as described. We loved the character of the place and the large terrace with the beautiful view which we spent many hours on.The location is fantastic, you probably can't stay any closer to the beach however there are steps down to the beach. The nearby shops have most essentials but are quite pricey, we found the nearest supermarket up in the town more affordable. There are also a few restaurants/take aways nearby. The walk to town is via a lot of steps (about 30 min walk) or the bus stop is just down the road. When taking the buses be aware they usually run at least 15 mins late. We did not have a car and found our way around ok either walking, buses or train to the airport and there is also a very short cable car ride to town a few mins walk away. We definitely recommend this apartment. We would have preferred some comfortable terrace furniture as what is is there is quite basic (plastics chairs and deckchairs)"
