"I had wanted to stay here for a while and finally had the opportunity in mid October. Definitely a shoulder season for the area, I was the only one there for most of my stay. Even so, the facilities were clean and well maintained and the quietness provided exactly what I was looking for.
The huts are well situated overlooking an empty field with a view to help provide a sense of solitude. The cabins themselves are beautifully designed, yet spartan. They strike an interesting balance of...

"Beyond words beautiful!! The setting is breathtaking and the cabin is perfect, just the right size and equipped with everything you need. The owner, Jim, was also incredibly kind and helpful….impeccable customer service and focus that you don’t tend to get anymore these days. They also have two beautiful wooden chairs by the river out the back door, which is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and absorbing this small piece of Heaven! 10/10, BOOK IT, you will not be disappointed!!! "We spent two nights at this property and next time we will invite friends/family and spend more time. The home is large, well appointed, clean and in a great location! Quiet and peaceful stay near great hiking, nice restaurants and pubs!"
"Very convenient location near Mazama (~15 min drive). Super cozy cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was quiet and clean. Would stay here again. "
"Pristine, beautifully decorated, well-equipped, comfortable cabin in a quiet tucked away neighborhood. Our kids loved riding bikes up and down the long dirt driveway with beautiful views of the mountains. "
Ski-In Ski-Out Studio, near Mazama Store and trail system
10/10 Excellent
"This was a lovely place to stay for an extra long Memorial weekend trip! The property is close to all the fun things in Mazama - hiking, biking, climbing, the Mazama Store/Brewery, and was a beautiful location to hang out at as well! The small, attached studio was perfect for my partner and I. Dawn was quick to respond to my questions and very helpful as well. I would absolutely try to stay here again! "
Happy Trails: woodland retreat with sauna and deck
10/10 Excellent
"Our family of six including parents in their 80s had a magical time at the Happy Trails cabin. The log construction is beautiful and reinforces the cozy, warm feeling of the home. We've been staying in the Mazama area for the last 30 years and love being near the Country Store and all the Mazama area has to offer. The OSH pub is a welcomed addition to this special part of the valley. The star-gazing is second to none and the peacefulness is so welcomed. The sauna is a lovely treat as is access to the hot tub at the Mazama Country Inn. The cabin is well appointed with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious den area off of the master bedroom upstairs. The heated concrete floors warm the home nicely and are easy with dogs. Tons of games and fun extras like a swing outside, hammock and even climbing holds for those looking to work on grip strength or just have some fun. Lots of family gathering spaces provide plenty of space for conversation, relaxing together and family time. The ski trails near the cabin are easily accessed right across the street and offer miles of solitude and exploration. Conversely, said trails offer lots of mountain biking options in the summer and easy river access directly from the property. Needless to say, we loved our stay and appreciate the owners sharing their sweet space."
