"We had the most amazing holiday in Almyrida. Villa Iannis was beautiful and the restaurants served great food. We particularly liked Psaros and Francois. The villa was spotless, the pool was bigger than we anticipated and Jan was so kind, helpful and just very lovely. We will be back! The only issue for us was the layout. You can’t see the pool from the villa and there were a lot of steps but our children are 11 and 14 so it was fine for us. Thank you Jan, Dimitra and the Almyrida team ❤️😊"

"A lovely villa in a peaceful tranquil retreat. Wonderful views of the coast and surrounding hills. Watch the Eagles soaring above. Very peaceful you can listen to the wildlife around you. The nearest Taverna is just over a kilometer away but you are unlikely to encounter a car walking there. Beautiful lake nearby to see the fresh water turtles."

"Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. Did think more effort could be put into a welcome basket maybe salt pepper...

"Very quaint property. Excellent location, three restaurants and a mini market within a few minutes walk; would highly recommend Giannikos who was very helpful. Three double/twin rooms, one upstairs. The upstairs one was very cosy but a few possible draw backs, depending on who the occupants were. The staircase was very steep and led straight from the kitchen with no door, not a problem for us but could be if you are seeking privacy from the rest of the house. "The villa was fabulous- 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms made everything effortless. The pool was even better- plenty of room for people to play together or spend time alone. Lina prepared a Cretan feast for us all- 15- for my birthday- and helped me plan an excursion to Knossos and an amazing dinner recommendation in Rethymno- she gave individual recommendations and local tips and made sure everyone had what they needed in the Villa and beyond. Simply outstanding"

"This was our second stay at villa Sevos and it has been fully renovated since our last visit in September 22. We loved it before but it's even better now, clean and modern throughout with huge windows to make the most of the stunning views. The morning visits from the peacocks who live at the farm across the way were a highlight of each day. The staff are just as lovely as we remembered from last time and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place...

"I am struggling to find works to describe our stay. We have spent last 5 years organising business trips which ranged from 16-30+ people and this has been an absolute show stopper. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, so close to the beach and some brilliant restaurants. The on hand service from Etouri is excellent to the point we have already booked another stay with them for next year. Sofia who manages the villa is ever so lovely and ever so helpful with anything. "House was clean with breathtaking views as advertised! Was not prepared for steep hill access to villa. Took a few trips to be comfortable with the drive; recommend a SUB rental.Communication with owner and house manager was on point. Owner provided detailed directions, as per location and surrounding areas. However, still have to be careful with GPS directions as it can take you areas that are not suitable for tourist driving. We had a wonderful family trip, and would recommend Villa Cassandra!"

The villa is very clean, really well stocked with what you need and with stunning views over Souda Bay. You need a car to explore but we loved the location. "Corinna Mare is in an amazing location with swimming pools and access straight into the sea. The bedrooms are a little dated and cleanliness was a little lacking but the restaurant food is gorgeous and the bedroom balcony was lovely. "
