"A delightful and eclectic decor and four resident case acting as social directors. Unfortunately in this very small town their restaurant is closed for dinner on weekend and the other hotel restaurants in town were limited in capacity to their own guests. The closure was due to staffing difficulties so I hate to point this out, but we ended up getting burgers at a local snack shop--and they were so busy it was an hour wait to pick up our order! Definitely stay here on a weeknight and clarify in...

"We arrived to find the door locked and no one on duty. And an announcement that the hotel was closed. Adjacent hotel (the Patio) telephoned the person on duty. He fetched his boss who told us the hotel was open but the kitchen closed but he would arrange breakfast. After one night with no hot water we were ready to leave but we’re told we should run the tap. After 8 minutes it did indeed get hot. The place was like a morgue- no one else staying and we crept in and out of darkened bar and salon....
