Mayo Abbey Ruin Founded by St Colman of Lindesfarne circa 670, St Colman's Famine church was opened in 1845 and is located off to the left, to the right is the Grave Yard where my Wife's Grandparents and other Kin are buried. I heard a humming coming from the fireplace in the ruin and stuck my head inside, I soon beat a hasty retreat when I realized there was a Bee's nest within.
