"We have just returned from a four night stay at the New Inn, Winchelsea and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's located right in the centre of the village and parking at the premises was never a problem. The landlord and landlady are a lovely couple and their staff are very pleasant and welcoming. "This is an old pub on the main Rye rd. with lots of character & old world charm. Be sure to tho win the postcode as google maps took us to the wrong place when we typed in White Hart Cranbrook. It’s actually in Newenden. Ellie at check in was adorable, she was super with anything we needed. Room was fine we got a room with 2 twin beds. Nice bathroom. Dinner was absolutely delicious I had the seafood salad with new potatoes Millie was just a delight helping us. Thank you Management for hiring...

"Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "
