"The resort is beautifully built and the staff are very professional, helpful and welcoming. I would recommend that the butler team to examine the rooms before having guests check in though. We had a situation where the water pressure of the rainforest shower head was weak (yes we were on the top floor but the 4th floor shouldn't have this weak a water pressure) and the other small shower head just would not clamp on to the pole and kept sliding down. It was not a pleasant experience when halfway through the shower we had to go the front desk and ask for a solution. The staff was very helpful and they upgraded us to a different room where the shower head worked. Again this may not have been possible if we went during the peak season. So I would hope the hotel checks and maintains the rooms regularly to avoid this. I also hoped that the AC vent wouldn't point directly towards the bed - I was worried that it would give me headaches. Otherwise the hotel was really enjoyable, food and drinks were excellent, especially La Bohème, El Gaucho, Poseidon (buffet) and Capricho (breakfast). The beach was well maintained and the beds are very comfy both by the beach and by the pool. We will be back!"

"We stayed here two years ago and had a blast. Stayed here this past weekend and it was not the same experience at all. The resort was very quiet during the day and boring at the night time. Overall it’s a dead vibe. Last time there was a Dj every night and fun activities. The power also went out for an hour one night. We wanted a similar experience from two years ago but the resort is just not the same."

"The service at the Majestic was exceptional. All staff throughout the hotel, at the bars and the restaurants provided excellent service, always very nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and spacious and comfortable beds. Anai our room steward always made sure our room was clean, she was the best!! Majestic really stands out for their service model. We have stayed at many hotels in Cancun but Majestic goes beyond by providing butler service. Our butler, Derian provided exceptional service. He made sure we were happy from the moment we checked in. He made sure we had everything we needed until the last day. We will definitely return to this hotel again."
