"It's a beautiful, secluded area right on the shore of Round Lake. Having access to the kayaks, paddleboards and canoes was great. I would rent a boat for more serious fishermen. We happened to be the only ones there, but the private dock, beach, etc. is shared by another rental cabin and the owner's cabin. The cabin is small, but it is just as described and pictured. Very clean. They provided a lot of kitchen items that most do not. Judy is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely visit...

"This was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking at for vacation. The cabin was amazing, with an incredible view of the lake and all the necessities to do cooking. The lake was a beautiful and we had a great time on the paddle boards and using the canoe. Judy was absolutely wonderful and a great host! We would love to come back again! We can’t thank Judy enough for a wonderful week."

"We had a great time for our family vacation. The lake was almost empty every day so the kids had a blast tubing. House was great. The only negative was the master doesn’t have walls all the way to the ceiling. If we didn’t have teenagers who wanted to stay up later than us it wouldn’t have been a problem though."

Good things come in small packages!

"Sunset escape is a super clean and cute tiny home, situated on an island and a large sparkling lake. This home has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, including an awesome coffee bar. We were picking up new kayaks in the area and decided to plan a trip to Sunset Escape to break our new kayaks in, over several days. The location is quiet but close to Grand Rapids, MN for restaurants, shopping and activities. Very nice experience! Thank you, Breanna, for your wonderful communication and hospitality."

"Everything was perfect about this place. It had a home away from home feel and had every amenity you could think of for a fishing vacation! Cozy 1950’s lake front cabin with beautiful sunsets!

Simple perfection

"We visited for a quick two day getaway. The cabin was perfectly described, very clean and had a welcome note with treats for the kids. The lake and land are clean and gorgeous. It was cooler weather a space heater was provided along with extra bedding to stay warm. You get the feeling that they really care about your stay, along with the adorable vintage cabin. The weather wasn’t great but we made the most of it and the kids didn’t care! We will be back for a warmer stay with more swimming."

Fun place for family and friends

"Snuggled amongst gorgeous trees with stunning views of the lake is the perfect place to stay with not only with your family but your friends entire family as well. Comfy beds, great gathering and eating spaces - we never felt crowded. Our dog loved every moment. Anything needed was already there. Great time was had by all enjoying the outdoor spaces along with the pool table, darts and shuffle board. Can't wait to stay again!"
