"Hayle is lovely with the nature reserve and beaches nearby. The Cornubia is near bus stops and I walked to the coast path and back via the harbour. Bar menu was good. Room is plain, spacious, clean and comfortable. Buses to St Ives, Penzance and Truro."

"Fantastic location and room 3 was quiet. Room was fine except there was no outlet for hairdryer next to a mirror. If you need or like to dry your hair in front of a mirror then this room isn’t for you. The staff were pleasant and the hotel was overall great bargain for what we paid. The hallways were honestly a mess and they need a revamp. You get what you pay for. The senior menu is offered to those over 60 y/o. Do not get the prawns and cold French fries. Prawns were fried and just like warm....

"I loved the village setting, the peace and quiet, the beautifully modernised bathroom with heated floor tiles! Also I tasted the best meat pie I have ever eaten, followed by the most delicious bread and butter pudding!! Just a few minutes away from the very beautiful and popular Newquay town! I wish we’d had more time to spend there."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. There is some road noise, but overnight it's pretty quiet. There are thoughtful touches such as milk and water in the fridge. There are also earplugs, although we didn't need them. The towels are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are also very welcoming too. "
