"Stayed in Alekos Apartments for a week trip to Athens, Greece. It was EXCELLENT. We rented a family apartment (5th floor) which had two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and full bathroom. The unit had three (3) air conditioners and they worked well (like USA air!!). The apartment was cleaned daily and refreshed with new towels. It’s newly updated and modern. Very CLEAN - I did not see a bug. The apartment has a nice wrap around porch with three doors. I was able to use the washing machine in the basement and was given a drying rack for the balcony. My apartment was refreshed with two liter bottles of water every day. Faisal (the apartment owner) was available IMMEDIATELY when any question was posted on what’s app - he was also at the apartment lobby every day. Very fun and nice guy! It is safe and feels comfortable. Excellent apartment. You are A good 35 min walk to Acropolis and flea market/shopping/tourist restaurants/areas. However, coffee shops and few restaurants around the apartment are SUPER CHEAP! We enjoyed our stay !!! You are very close to train station (e.g., 10 min walk to catch train to Thessaloniki and using BOLT for taxi’s around town it’s about $4-5 to get to main tourist areas."

"My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved our stay. It’s about 30 mins from the centre, with a metro close to the hotel. From the point of arrival, the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s clean, stylish and the rooms are really lovely. We enjoyed using the rooftop sun loungers, the pool and bar area on the top floor is the perfect place to unwind after a long day out in the city. Top tip: book your sun lounger early, as there is only a few and I guess they get booked up quickly. We stayed in early May, so wasn’t too busy. Great food and drinks too! I highly recommend this hotel, it’s the perfect place away from the busy centre and would happily stay here again! "

"My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It isn't a fancy resort but it gives you everything for a relaxing time by the seaside. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The food is very good and there is a variety, even so for my picky American husband. There are many drink options for the all inclusive price, including beer, wines, and well spirits. If you want a fancy or named brand drink, however, you will pay for those and it is an average price. But for the price point, it is well worth it. There are 2 pools and 2 poolsode bars. There is access to the beach area and there are also a few closeby restaurants in walking distance as well. It was definitely a nice slow paced change after several days in Athens. You can also rent bikes to take a leisurely ride along the sea. We would love to come back. The resort and the rooms were also very clean. The staff is always helpful and most speak English. We would love to come back!!!"

"This property was so convenient . Not far from the city center and not far from all of the major attractions! We we’re surprised to know that the hotel had a washer and a small kitchenette area which made for a great stay. One thing I will say is that for a short period, we noticed some leaking in the bathroom from the floor above. "

"Loved it. Modern not far from the metro station. You can be in the city center in 15 minutes. The hotel is super clean and modern. Great view from the terrace where you have breakfast on the 4th floor. I definitely recommend staying at the Newel hotel."
