"I’ll start by saying this property is charming if you love the great outdoors. I’d planned a last minute trip to visit family that lives nearby and the PGA was in town, so this was the only place I could find to stay. The reviews were good and I’ve been to the Great Smoky Mountains so I thought the cabin would be like that, right? Wrong!!! It’s much more primitive than anything I’ve ever seen but the kicker was when we found a 10 foot snake skin over the back door just as it was getting dark on...

And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. "I feel the description of the castle and its accommodations were on point. Nothing to do with the castle itself but Ticks were an issue. The beds were not the most comfortable- but not the worse either. A futon was broken and unusable- this could have been an issue if we had been expecting to use, the door racks to the ref. were missing, icemaker didn't work and dishwasher seal was lying inside (we didn't use). We had plenty of toiletries, towels, dishes, cookware, grill gas, dish soap,body...

"Very nice cabin with well-equipped kitchen. A few other cabins in the vicinity and a convenience store nearby. Other than that, nature. We enjoyed hiking, the hot tub, and the whirlpool bath. There is no WiFi but a collection of DVDs and even VHS, but we didn’t get around to watching any. Lots of games as well."

"We enjoyed our stay while being in Kentucky. We loved the river and watching the barges go by. The kids even did some fishing. There was plenty of room in the cabin. I was a little disappointed to see there were only 2 showers upon arrival since the description read 4 full baths, but we made it work just fine. Also, a plus was having wifi and plenty of choices on the TV."
