Wonderful location but home needs maintenance

We loved the location in Maubec, a small town near Gordes with its own bakery, fruit and vegetable shop, butcher and grocery store. When we first arrived at the home, it looked comfortable and clean; it even had a backyard swimming pool. However, we soon discovered that it had none of the basics you would expect when renting a vacation property, not even an extra roll of toilet paper, dish detergent, or sponges. The sofa was both dirty and broken. There were no towels in the house when we arrived. To his credit, Gael did come back with towels in the evening when we informed him there were none. The listing indicated the home had a hair dryer, but there wasn't one. I asked Gael about this and he said it had broken. Okay ... then you replace it! Another issue we had was the propane tank that powers the stove. We could not get the stove to light. Gael came over and we discovered he had a very precarious set up connecting the tank and the stove. This seems to be a dangerous situation that should be corrected. We did enjoy the lovely yard with great views and appreciated having a barbecue.

très belles vacances

Maison idéalement située, bien appréciable de ne pas prendre la voiture pour aller chercher son pain frais chaque matin. L'accueil est chaleureux, la maison tout confort est irréprochable et très propre. L'ambiance est typiquement provençale avec une vue imprenable sur le Luberon. A 10 min de l'Isle sur la Sorgue et à 25 min d'Avignon, pour nous qui sommes fans du festival, nous avons été gâté. Merci Gael et Virginie

excellent rapport qualité-prix

nous avons séjourné a Maubec du 6 au 13 juillet 2013. nous avons profité du luxe du Luberon pour un tarif très abordable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Gaël et virginie . Ils ont pris tout le temps nécessaire pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement de la maison ainsi , qu'avec une carte et de nombreux prospectus, toutes les visites et activités possibles dans la région. Ainsi que 2 bouteilles de rosé pour notre premier apéritif ! La maison est pratique , bien équipée et très bien entretenue ( c'est leur résidence principale ) L'ouverture des volets, chaque matin, est un pur bonheur , la vue est magnifique. La clim est appréciable pour les bretons que nous sommes ! , le jardin est très fleuri et les enfants se sont régalé dans la piscine ... et nous aussi . Maubec est un beau village , calme , et c'est le point de départ idéal pour le Luberon et toute la Provence . nous avons passé une très belle semaine , nous remercions Gaël , Virginie et leurs enfants pour leur accueil . maison propre et au calme

Actuellement en location dans cette maison, je viens de la région parisienne et je trouve cet endroit magnifique. Idéalement situé, je peux visiter tous les villages du luberon. Des lieux magiques... Il fait beau et j'essaie de profiter un maximum de mon séjour. Voilà un petit message pour tous ceux qui hésite a venir dans cette maison, je vous la recommande...
