"Interesting place. I think Italians know what a "Village" property means. I did not. It is usually for long stays. This one is super dog friendly, even has a dog swimming pool. I love dogs, but it does mean the rooms are pretty basic and spartan. And if you are not a "member" of the village you can't buy anything from the bar or restaurant. "This is a gem of a property with a superb location and the most lovely hostess. Finding a villa like this close to one of the most scenic beaches in Italy if not Europe, is rare and we were very pleased to book it. From the day we arrived till the day we left, our hostess, Silvana was welcoming and flexible and gave us a lot of really useful information. She took us to the beach and showed us how to access it through the hotel and the lift. For the next week we went there frequently and never had a problem. She was a major reason why we had such a good time.The house itself was excellent. Split over two levels, it has two very spacious bedrooms in the basement along with a bathroom / toilet. The ground floor has a living room and kitchen as well as a toilet. An external shower was used regularly after visits to the sea. The heat was dealt with using an AC on the ground floor while fans were sufficient for the basement bedrooms as they were cooler.A smart TV and a fast WiFi connection were also very welcome.Exploring the Gargano region was really easy from the villa with most places within an hour and a half (driving in the region is slow because the the winding roads)Stocking up with groceries in Mattinata or Manfredonia is recommended as there are none in the local area. The villa is well equipped for cooking and there is a restaurant a short walk away with a view of the bay.The villa is highly recommended and we would love to visit again. Thank you Silvana!"

"Staying here was an utter dream! There was peace and quiet, and the most amazing views right from this bnb, changing so slightly with every passing hour. This was the perfect base to get to where we needed to explore in the Gargano, mattinata and monte Sant’Angelo as well as so many jaw-dropping hikes like Monte Sacro are just about 20 min away. It was nice to have an outdoor shower and kitchen even though we didn’t use it because it was too cold when we were there. The house in itself had all the basic necessities, we slept well! There is another apartment above for a bigger group or families with which you share a parking, however it is great place to be if you want to be isolated. We actually chose this place as our first Bnb for our minimoon!For breakfast, we went to Pasticceria la Torre every morning, the most delicious breakfast."
