"The apartment was sizable for a one bedroom, clean, safe and located in a very central area. Easily walkable to the river and its varied shops and eating places. Also walking distance to the easily walkable bridge that takes you to Gaia de Nova and it’s many port cellars. I would highly recommend a stay in this apartment."

"The Pause apartments are in a very central location. The hosts, Beatriz and Gil were wonderful. They were very responsive to all of our needs and allowed us to store our luggage on the last day while we went on a tour. I will say that our place was a bit noisy early in the morning, once for an alarm that was going off and the second sounded like some construction (constant hammering starting at 7 am). Otherwise it was a good stay."

"We had a very welcoming check in by Legia who provided lots of information about things to do in Porto. The room we had was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchenette had sufficient cutlery and dishes to prepare food and eat in if one choose to. There are tons of restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel is in a close proximity to most major sites making walking to them very convenient. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others. "

"The apartments, which have a lift, are located perfectly in walking distance to most of the city centre's historic attractions. Our apartment on the 4th floor (4A) was spacious, decorated in a modern style with a good shower and contained all you need for a short stay. The bed sheets and linen were made from quality cotton and both bed linen and towels were changed on day 2 of our 4 day stay. On arrival, we found that the kettle wasn't working. "This was such a charming apartment, high ceilings, lots of windows, very clean and well-furnished. The location was perfect for us with access to the metro and buses but also walkable to lots of attractions. The checkin instructions were clear and the staff were very helpful.
