"This was our first "Snowbird" adventure. Our stay was 2 months. We were extremely grateful for the gracious welcome of our lovely hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating during our length of stay. This is a great location regarding the proximity to Ft Myers and Cape Coral venues especially the Ft Myers downtown events. The newly remodeled home has a quaint, cottage feel with every modern convenience. Comfortably clean. Wonderful stay. Awesome hosts. Would recommend."

"We did not even stay at this property thanks to the host. We were about an hour away from the property when the host finally contacted us to let us know he double booked. He tried blaming VRBO stating that he tried contacting them. We ended up having to get a hotel room in which we then contacted VRBO and had no problem getting in touch with them and no problem getting a hold of them."

"The cottage was quite unique being located directly behind the owners residence in a neighborhood. The unit was perfect for my wife and I during our 2 night stay. It was clean and well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. The decor was beachy and appeared to be professionally done. The grounds outside the cottage was very nice with multiple sitting area’s to enjoy cocktails or coffee. The 2 rocking chairs were a nice touch and relaxing while enjoying beverages in the morning...

"The property was a studio style space tucked away in an area close to the lighthouse beach end of the island. I enjoyed the space and especially having a bike. For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. I could have used a bit more towels as they were not stored on site and kitchen tools as I planned on prepping about half the meals. Overall it was very quiet. It reminded me of an upscale...

"I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. "Property was very clean. Great location close to Captiva and Sanibel. Bathroom was nice and clean. Only complaints: 1. Beach Parking Pass is ONLY for use on the property’s beach access. I wish this was more clearly stated on the room literature as we found this out the hard way! $150 parking ticket! 2. The bed is awful. Not very comfortable at all. That’s about it. "We really enjoyed our time here. The house is in a great location with plenty of privacy. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks, and the closeness of the put-in was great. Well stocked with everything we needed - even a stacked washer/dryer. Has a homey feel as another reviewer said. There is a grocery store nearby and a good amount of restaurants around. We would both highly recommend a stay here."
