"The best thing about Hotel Eleo was its staff. The bed wasn't so bad either. But the worst thing was that horrible Nespresso coffee maker. When first booking the room and seeing the amenities, I ordered my favorite coffee in a Nespresso pod to use. Terrible. Foamy and bitter - no matter which brand of coffee used. But the nearness to Shands was such a plus and the availability of the shuttle service to the hospital 24/7 certainly outweighed the bad coffee. And with the Opus coffee kiosk in the hospital lobby, I was ok. I had breakfast one day and then lunch another day at the restaurant there. Both were great. And William, the bartender/server made me feel as if we were old friends. If a visit to Shands was ever in the future, I would stay at the Eleo again...but I'd pack my little Keurig! "

"Needs to have a fridge in the rooms. The little fridge that holds 2 waters is not big enough. "

"Would have rated hotel a 5 except no sleep on Fri and Sat night until after 2am due to noise of bar!!!!! Great location to restaurants walking less then 1 block: Harry's, Dragonfly, OAK, BBQ chicken, Pizza place, Starbucks, ice cream shop. No parking but we knew this so ubbered everywhere. Nice pool, great staff, friendly and quick to respond to needs. So my advice is dont stay here on the weekend unless you stay up partying until 2am and ubber, dont rent a car. Continental breakfast was the best ive ever had."

"Beautiful neighborhood! Lovely surroundings, close to campus. Walk to breakfasts!! We didn’t like being in the back of the house; very dark, very tired, clean but overpriced. "

"Our host was fantastic! She helped us with many things…including leaving a phone after we checked out and having it delivered to our local family members by staff! The bed is very comfortable which is a first priority. The apartment was super cute with good location. "
