"Hello, we are a family of 4 from South America. We stayed at the Piccolina Vacation Home and it was excellent. Very nice place with nice kitchen and bathroom. Nearby there is a little Piazza to get a coffee, pizza and to do laundry. Also, very friendly neighbors and a supermarket nearby. There is a bus stop just a couple minutes away that takes you straight to downtown to see the Sassi. Great place!"

"This is an ancient city. It was fascinating to stay in one of the caves where people have lived for over 4000 years. But recently upgraded to modern day comforts and safety. The bedroom/living area is well appointed. The kitchen had everything one needed, and the bathroom had a shower in the cave wall that was as unusual as the city. I enjoyed my stay very much."

"We absolutely loved this place! The view was incredible, and it had everything we needed. It was very easy to access, which is not the case for many places in Matera. Easy parking nearby, but a 5 minute walk to the main part of the old city."

"Bien que nous n'ayons passé qu'une nuit dans le logement de Francesco, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et la qualité du logement. Francesco était aux petits soins pour nous, toujours disponible par message et de bons conseils pour explorer les environs. Le logement était parfaitement préparé et extrêmement propre. Le quartier ne paye pas de mine mais la nuit a été très calme et le logement se situe à 10 - 15 minutes à pied du centre historique de Matera. Je recommande pleinement pour un...

"What can we say- consider yourselves lucky to stay in this beautiful space. Overlooking a cliff and perfectly situated atop the old city, this property is well designed and offers it all: great bedrooms, a lovely bathroom, a warm fireplace, and wonderful hosts. There’s ample room (we were 6) and we were welcomed warmly with snacks from the local area. Very highly recommended!"
