"It's a real paradise to relax in the sun and sea. We spent 8 magic days admiring the colours of the water, sunsets and the coral barriers with every kind of fishes. We felt at home with the staff that in short time became like a family. Each of them made any effort to satisfy with kindness and friendliness our needs and to supply any lack of the structure, which could be improved. "Tiny island paradise!! Stayed a week & couldn’t have stayed another, it was so sad to leave. Fell in love with the incredible staff, particularly Khatri, Sadrina, Mahns, Melea & Gabby. Nightly music so gorgeous. The feeling they create of ‘island home’ is something you won’t get at big resorts. Beautiful beaches, lots of wildlife, food was delicious - loved it & will be back. "I'm writing this from the Tokoriki restaurant which abuts a calm sea with a view of the island where Tom Hanks hung out with a volleyball in Castaway. But it is not the view (which is spectacular), or the large villas right on the beach (which are amazing) that make this place a 5-star experience. What makes this place a 5-star paradise is the staff. Somehow EVERYONE knows your name immediately. This in itself is quite a feat because the staff outnumbers the guests. (Someone really knows their Dale Carnagie!) They greet every guest with a welcome song and announce every guest's departure at dinner accompanied by a good-bye song. It rained quite a bit while we were here, but we did sneak in some incredible snorkling just yards from the hotel. My only tiny complaint is that it would be nice if they offered some relevant exercise classes--I'm thinking like yoga or mindfulness--but I imagine that is on the way since they are in the process now of building a gym. As I'm writing this another helicopter just landed carrying new guests...can't wait to see their reaction when the entire staff shows up to welcome them!"
