"This hotel is run down and the management doesn’t seem genuinely interested in updating it. The shower door fell off, the AC wasn’t functional, the wifi cut in and out, the paint on the walls needed serious help, and the management’s response was to give me a hard time for leaving them a bad review on google. Breakfast is also not great and it costs more than the 6 euros they list online. The location is also terrible. You are right around the corner from a huge factory wasteland, and though Taranto is close, there is nowhere to eat within walking distance and Taranto is a hellhole for drivers (the worst I’ve ever experienced in Europe). All in all, this place is a polished dump, not at all like how they present it"

"The owners, Gianna and Mimmo, are wonderful hosts—so kind and a pleasure to chat with. They gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and even gave us a ride into town, which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was delicious, the grounds are spacious and beautifully kept, and the pool made for a very relaxing stay. There are also massages available on the property, which added to the experience. Overall, superb quality and highly recommended for a peaceful countryside getaway."
