We got charged a hefty early check-in fee, even though the room was already ready, but it was worth it since we’d been flying all night. The location really was perfect."

"Stayed in double room with private bathroom, it was very very spacious and clean, quiet and in the perfect place just a short walk away from Plaça De Catalunya. I would love to come back and stay there! Reception was so sweet and helpful, they let us keep our bags there until check-in, and the wifi was faaabulous in the room. There is a bit of noise but I cannot sleep without a white noise machine, so it worked out perfectly! "

"Fontanella was perfect for our stay in Barcelona! The location is so convenient for accessing everything we wanted to see, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable and clean! Only downside was how small the room was but we knew that beforehand and it had everything we needed with a great little balcony and view of the street."

"really good place to stay! Very central so everything is accessible! The host are amazing:) There is also a fridge and a microwave accessible to everyone! So you can put the leftover food or beverage in it so it can be used by other guest! It is a little difficult to find once you are there, you have to ring to be able to enter! Also, it is very safe, you have 3 codes to type to get to your room! "

"Superb accommodation. My wife and I had a lovely stay at Aslyp 114. Staff were very kind and friendly. Honestly Anna and Joseph treated us like their own family. I had trouble buying tickets for a day tour to Andorra. Anna helped me buy the tikets. If it wasn't because of her hard efforts we would have missed that opportunity. Hotel is located in a nice area of Barcelona near bus station and metro. It is very clean and friendly staff are ready to help you in any way they can to make your stay...

"Overall we were very happy with the room. The staff was lovely and the breakfast was excellent as far as hotel breakfasts go. My only complaint is that our room was on the second floor and faced the street, so there was a little noise from people enjoying the Barcelona night life. It was OK with ear plugs, but definitely something to consider if you are a light sleeper."

"What a wonderful find! Yes the rooms are small. But the place is magical. It feels like you are a treasured relation that your hostess wants to make sure your stay is perfect in all ways. A central location. A coffee machine and small refrigerator for your use in the break room. A total of eight rooms. You are given keys not only for your room but also for the huge ancient wooden exterior doors and glass doors in the building lobby. The entire hotel is located on the second floor, with elevator...

"Great hotel for family. Really good location with restaurants / mini supermarket, bus/ metro right there, etc. Staff at hotel was GREAT!! Now rooftop did seem to get booked up for private events on both our weekend nights there and staff seem to not like a "family" coming up to for meals so we took the que and went elsewhere. Sad as we would have liked to enjoy the views from there while dining (mainly the hostess). "
