"Overall we enjoyed our stay! The master bedroom doesn't get the best A/C airflow so it took a while to get to sleep at night but it was comfortable and roomy. The cabin is remote and quiet which was one of our main goals! We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed ourselves. Only downside is we did not see in the listing anywhere that said the pool wasn't open yet which was one of the reasons we chose this property. The owner's explanation made sense and they were very responsive and professional."

"My partner and I wanted a weekend to relax and be close to nature. This is the perfect place! Super clean, such care and thought put into every little thing for any guest, and watching the birds was definitely really cool! We definitely plan to come back!"

"The cottage was peaceful and cozy. We enjoyed hanging out on the back porch and yard. Charlene was welcoming and friendly. I bought firewood from her and we made a fire and watched the stars at night. We had a nice retreat!"

"This cabin is perfect! Quiet, peaceful and super clean. It was fully stocked with everything anyone could need and also coveniently located close to town. Communication from the owner was fantastic! I'm a big Mothman/cryptid fan so I absolutely loved all the decor."

"My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. We loved how isolated we were from everything, but still within driving distance to towns close by. The house was quaint and had everything we needed. It has been a long time since my wife and I have slept in a queen size bed (we have a king), but the bed was much more comfortable than we expected. You definitely get a good workout when you hike the trails, but it was still enjoyable. We will definitely look at staying there again."

"We were in the area for college orientation at Ohio University for our daughter. This property provided our family with peace and comfort after a busy and emotional day to reflect and process. The cabin and grounds are well taken care of and very clean. The layout allows for everyone to enjoy each other’s company without feeling like you are on top of each other. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The location was great and very easy to get to campus. Truly a haven."
