"DO NOT STAY HERE! My family had a horrible experience at this hotel and left after only one night into a three night reservation. Dirty room, broken toilet, disgusting shower, no air conditioning, extremely noisy location made it impossible to sleep. Ruined the first day of our Italy vacation. "An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Completely modern rooms with great ambiance. Pool area is great. The only downside is no staff on site. Need to arrange for staff to be there when you arrive to let you in and explain how it all works. This is problematic, otherwise a wonderful spot."

"This hotel is perfect as a base to explore the eastern side of the island, conveniently located between Mount Etna and the sea. The hotel is lovely - clean and modern with everything you need including a pool. It is a family run business, and they could not have been more lovely - nothing was too much trouble. "Lovely place, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, very convenient for places like Taormina. The only slight issue we had was that we were looking forward to having dinner in their restaurant, where much of the food cooked would come from the farm itself, but they stop opening in the evenings from 20th October until April - we arrived 22nd October! Shame, and it would have been useful if this was advertised - they do still provide lunches at weekends though, in the off-season."

Few things were left out of property info or just falsely advertised, e.g. “extra twin-bed” (no where to be found, after we paid additional fee for extra person). Despite cleaning fee (and even after we had cleaned up as much as possible), we were asked to thoroughly clean kitchen and take trash out to the street.
