"Can’t fault this hotel. Very clean, staff were lovely and the pool are was wonderful. Our room wasn’t the most modern but bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Fruit at breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Short 5/10 min stroll into Taormina town. Perfect location and the bus terminal is just out the back of the hotel which is really handy. Close to the cable car to go down to Isola Bella too. We had a wonderful day and Pizzichella beach, with cheap sunbeds!"

Hotel Villa Belvedere

"This is a beautiful small hotel with amazing views and friendly staff. It is situated very close to the main town (5 to 10 minute walk). The breakfast was good, with a modest selection of fresh foods and crepes made to order. The car park isn't cheap and operates via valet service (recommended as it is on a steep hill). The lunch restaurant was great - tasty pasta and refreshing drinks. The pool was warm and well maintained. We would recommend this stay."

Splendid Hotel Taormina - Handwritten Collection

"The hotel was in a good , close uphill location from town (Umberto Corso) and just outside the inner city walls. Very close to shopping and all. Breakfast was delicious and the view from restaurant was gorgeous. We did have a sea view but ask for a higher floor if possible."

"Nice hotel - but needed a bit of TLC and a lick of paint. It looks like a relic from the 1970s and could do with a facelift. The staff were great, really kind and helpful; they all helped with my basic Italian! The location is fantastic- close enough to walk to the action, but quiet enough to get away from the hustle and bustle if you want. Breakfast was lovely- I don’t think they opened for evening meals. But there are plenty of eateries within walking distance. A great base to explore the area."
