"We had planned to only stay for about 4 days. Our plans changed due to a family crisis and we were there for 10 days. In that time the whole staff team were sympathetic and supportive in many ways. They are a great team and worthy of high praise. Peppers is not just somewhere to stay it is a "destination". The property is oozing in charm of years gone by. You need to see it for yourself!"

"The Abbey Motel far exceeded my expectations. It seems more of a quality hotel than a motel. Lovely, friendly staff. Welcoming interior, coffee machine in the lobby (although it was out of order during our stay ... just my luck). The beautifully decorated room was spacious with quality bedlinen and an amazing mattress. It had a big screen tv, Foxtel, and everything we needed ie plates, cultery etc. We had an upper floor room with balcony that looked across at historic buildings and the church as well as a view out to farmland and glimpses of the city. We were blown away by the overall quality of the motel and highly recommend it to all. There seems to be no lift to the upper floor and while stairs are not a problem for us, it may be a problem for anyone wanting an upper room. It was a pleasure to stay at The Abbey and I look forward to staying again."

"Great spot to break up a trip. Rooms were too smelly with air freshener. Also cars coming and going with people slamming car doors and reving engines right out the front door...this venu is a motel with an upmarket hotel feel."
