"This place is an absolute gem. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and the bed was huge and really comfortable. There were plenty of teas and coffees and some nice biscuits provided and a bottle of water, the bathroom had hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in, the food both at dinner and breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious, the parking was in a locked garage round the back, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you to all there 💕"

"Brief stay overnight before catching an early flight from Bristol. Wish we could have stayed longer - the hotel was perfect and just what we needed. We arrived after last check in at 9pm due to traffic and I was extremely worried about not being able to check in (we were travelling with young children) but the hotel was so accommodating and showed us to our room straightaway. The whole place was clean and spacious and the beds were so comfy. We will definitely stay again. "

"This was truly an “Pub with and Inn” experience. The Cat in the Custard is the hub of this small Cotswold village, so we felt like travelers in time. "A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening.
