"The staff was welcome you, helfull... Good location, most everything was in walking distance... First time in Springfield City. By I 44, not too far from main downtown... Not too noise from out side. We felt like Home away from Home!!! Glad we booked from Expedia, event when we travelled to Ha Noi, VN. This hotel had free breakfast in the morning, free on site parking, free cancellation..."

"We didn't know we were staying in an icon! Loved the history. Beds were hard as a rock! We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and inviting. We loved the lore people shared with us about historic route 66 and took some fun pictures! Loved all the nostalgia."

"The room was very clean and everything was in good repair. One exception was water pressure in the shower and a head that didn't get to everything! We didn't eat at the Bistro as it was way over priced in our opinion. There needs to be a sign out on the road where you enter like you're proud of the place. As it is is appears to just be a break in the weeds! All in all it was a great stay and we'll be back again."
