"We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

"A great spot to stay just outside Kilkenny. The attached restaurant had a fun vibe and great food. The bed was incredibly comfortable — after two weeks of hotel hopping around Ireland, this was our best sleep. Staff were easygoing and friendly to chat with. Breakfast was more limited than other stays, but still met our needs. Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay."

"Extremely friendly hosts! We were greeting on the sidewalk by our hosts and shown to our room. We had access to a hot tub, which we didn't even realize. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a huge shower and Irish rock wall. The beds were comfy and it was great to have access to a full kitchen. The pub is also great to visit, with friendly locals and great prices. I would go again!"

Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night. The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. No problem at all - directly across the small road and next to the hotel are parking places, and the hotel validates the parking (it is free to you, the guest). The room we stayed in was a good size, had a great bathroom and shower, and a comfortable bed. "Very clean and convenient location "

"Overall stay was good. Room was very clean and the staff were friendly. No early checkin was available, so I had to wait nearly 3 hours to get my room. Parking is terrible for this place. Basically, a dirt parking lot. Very difficult to find a spot. Also, paid about $30 dollars for the fish and chips. TERRIBLE. Peas were nearly cold and poor quality fish. Would not eat there again but I would stay there for location and cleanliness."

"What a gem of a hotel. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Especially for my dietary requirements. The hotel has the wow factor when you walk in. The view from our room over looking the river Slaney was spectacular."

"The hotel is older and could use updating. Landscaping appears to be overgrown in some areas. Outside our window was an old grocery cart and a piece of fencing. Not sure why it was there. Parking was limited and there was no air conditioning. Showers were very small."
