This property was perfect for our short trip to Marshall NC. The home was clean, comfortable and convenient. A bonus was we were able to bring our dog with us. We enjoyed eating at several places in Marshall and had the luck of hearing the local ballad singers on the patio at Zadies on a beautiful night.
This home is the perfect place to stay for a mountain vacation. Hiking right from the home, wildlife viewing ( we saw a deer - beautiful). Very cozy and comfy.
Very neat, updated and comfortable cottage in the woods, quiet yet convenient to town. Loved cooking our meals in, exploring the hills and trails, and the fire pit at night. Will hope to stay again.
This was by far one of the best rentals we have stayed in. All the little extras are what makes it fantastic. The spices, toilet paper, and toys for the kids room all make this well work the price and the drive.
My partner and I were in town with his mother and our dogs. Aside from a couple hiccups which were immediately remediated, our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this home for the privacy and location.
The house was well appointed. Nice private location and not far from restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. The hosts were responsive and very helpful. If you want privacy in a beautiful wooden spot, this is the place. We will be back!
Property was just as described; clean, convenient, cozy. Great to be able to walk to Marshall, convenient to Asheville, quiet, all amenities in working order, easy check-in and out. All you could ask for in vrbo. One note, heed the host's advice: the road in and the steep driveway were intimidating for us flatlanders--suggest arriving in light and taking it easy your first time.
We are here, looking for property to build our new home. We have stayed in a few cabins prior to this one and what a complete difference. Very clean, big, spacious, cozy, and comfortable, everything provided for you ,I couldn’t have asked for more. The Owner is so nice and that helps so much. I recommend this cabin to everyone!
The cabin was very nice and perfect for our needs. It was fun to be in so much nature with multiple deer on the property. My one comment is that the picture does not show how steep the driveway is and the roads getting to the property truly are on the side of a mountain with lots of narrow turns. You do get used to them!
We were in Marshall for my daughter‘s wedding. The little cottage was a nice retreat after setting up and breaking down her wedding. It was close and comfortable after too long hard days of work and a wonderful wedding!
Nice property and house, quiet and private. Clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. The driveway entrance is tricky depending on which way you come from, you have to turn around in someone else’s drive way so you can make the turn into the driveway because of the steepness. Also, we should have researched ahead of time but did not… The town of Marshall was also unfortunately devastated by the flooding so there is not much to do nearby.
The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking even offering s’mores supplies! The property manager was very helpful and attentive. We saw quite a few deer and had a great fire!
We enjoyed the proximity to downtown Marshall. Our dog enjoyed the seclusion of the home. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed the smores!
