Elysium Falls deep in the Laurels

  • Secluded creekside cabin (2 bedrooms, 1.5 bath) on 100 forest acres. Creekside has large stone fire pit with large stone seats. Screened in deck with 2 ceiling fans, table, chairs, and day bed. Outdoor shower and grill. Hiking and ATV trails. Mountain top campground (3/4 mile from house) with 4 platforms ( 3 8x8 ft and 1 10x10 ft platforms) and fire pit. 3 Hammocks throughout and additional available for self setup. About 1 acre grassy field next to the cabin perfect for games or additional camping. Kitchen includes full size fridge, 5 burner gas stove, spice selection included. Trout fishing in 12-15ft wide creek. Living room includes sofa bed, leather club chair, wifi, tv with DVD player. Small loft (15 x 10 ft) with 2 xl twin beds accessible by ladder. House can sleep up to 8 people with additional outdoor tent camping space available (narrow driveway does not provide space for any trailer over 10 ft). 30 miles from Asheville, 15 miles from downtown Marshall and downtown Hot Springs. 4 wheel drive is Not required.

The sound of the river rushing along the cabin was a highlight of this property. Also a very nice natural rock seating area and fire pit next to the river was wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was organized and there was a lot provided (games, telescope, local information, etc). The trail essentially begins at the cabin, so it's very convenient to wake up and start your hike. The fire pit is beautiful and right at the creek. Would definitely recommend.

The property was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. It had everything we could have needed and everything was clean and well organized. The location was everything we could have asked for with being close enough to the mountain things we were hoping to do but also accessible to general goods and items we needed for our stay. We are hoping to book this same site again in the future at the request of our daughter who absolutely loved it!

The house was beautiful and quiet, the beds were comfortable. There are really pretty hikes 20-30 minutes from the house but expect long drive to get anywhere. The room with the 2 twin beds is accessed by a latter that is a little wobbly. Overall a very nice place.

Gorgeous, peaceful, and well-appointed. The home is delightful - even our anxious dog enjoyed some blissful naps on the porch. Our kids had a blast fishing in the creek even though the trout weren’t biting.

The cabin was better than advertised. The fire was absolutely incredible with the babbling stream right next to it. Big green space for kids to play on and the bed on the porch was absolutely perfect! I will be back.

Had a great stay here. House was clean and well-supplied with everything I needed. Beautiful property in a secluded area. Firepit by the water was terrific. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Relaxing surroundings and well appointed cabin, we enjoyed our stay. Loved having the option to hike, camp, and play in the creek right on property. Owners were very responsive to minor issues encountered during our stay. Would return!

the house was very nice and it’s way up in the mountain very private and secluded the stream along the property is beautiful and the water fall sounds are very relaxing when you’re hanging out on the screen porch

Peaceful Vacation

We sat on the back porch with our dog everyday listening to the creek. It was such a peaceful & relaxing get away. We went to hike and see waterfalls throughout the day and would come back to the house to hangout and relax.
