It was absolutely peaceful and quiet with wonderful views. The check-in and check-out were easy. Swimming is possible within walking distance. We loved that you could go hiking right from the house. There are several hiking trails nearby, again with great views. As a guest you clean the house before you leave.

This place is simply heaven on earth! Won't forget the fantastic views to Cap Méjan and to Marseille from the terrace and our relaxed walks to Petit and Grand Méjan to swim into the crystal clear mediterranean sea. Hiking to other, hidden calanques, dining in one of the authentic and charming restaurants nearby - we loved it. Ètienne as a landlord is the most gentle and supportive host you can ever imagine! Thanks for two superb weeks!

We have stayed at Etienne's house in the Calonque of Mejean. It was a extraordinary and spacious house with beautiful views and a short hike to the harbor and Calonque beach. All applications worked very well and are well kept, lots of glasses, plates and cutlery to be used. Etienne was very supportive and helpful, we felt well taken care of. The Calonque in Mejean is rather private and thus traveling in and out is a little cumbersome. If you want a quiet and beautiful place you are right in Mejean. We are thinking to return to Mejean one day.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable, la maison est très bien équipée et dispose de deux terrasses à la vue magnifique. Accès à la mer et aux promenades dans les calanques à pied, proche de Marseille et Aix en Provence pour des excursions à la journée. Accueil très chaleureux. Nous espérons revenir!

War es der Blick in die Bucht von einer der beiden Terrassen? Oder das Schwimmen gehen in einer der Buchten (unterhalb des Hauses oder die Bucht beim Bahnhof). Oder der Blick auf Marseille vom Haus aus? Ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, was ich schöner fand. Zugegebenermaßen hatte ich Respekt vor der Anfahrt in die Calanque, aber das legt sich nach dem zweiten Mal rumfahren. Der Aufenthalt war es auf jeden Fall Wert! Danke nochmal an Etienne!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette Maison. Elle est spacieuse et dispose de grandes terrasses extérieures ombragées, très agréables. Beaucoup de charme et à quelques minutes à pied des plus belles criques de la côte bleue. On aurait presque envie de garder ce coin secret :)

Die Anfahrt zur Unterkunft ist recht abenteuerlich und echte eine Achterbahnfahrt ;-). Die wilde Schönheit der Calanque ist beeindruckend. Die Unterkunft ist ideal für Wanderer oder Biker. Der Gastgeber ist mega sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Seine Tipps sind Gold wert: Feines Essen, tolle Strände und gute Restaurants. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Ein grosses DANKESCHÖN an Étienne.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, es war alles so unkompliziert und großzügig, die Wohnung liegt wunderschön in einem nur von Anwohnern befahrbaren Gebiet, dadurch war es schön leer. In zehn Minuten zu Fuß ist man zur kleinen Bucht gelaufen, das ist zwar ein Kiesstrand, aber das Wasser ist schön klar und man kann super baden und schnorcheln. Außer uns waren meistens nur 2-4 andere Leute da. Man kann auch schöne Wanderungen am Meer entlang machen und ist schnell in Marseille. Man kann aber auch stundenlang auf der schönen Terrasse mit Meerblick sitzen und lesen :). Für uns war es wirklich ideal, vielen Dank!

Nous avons passé un très bon et beau séjour chez Etienne dans les calanques. Etienne est très accueillant et très réactif à chacune de nos demandes. Le gîte est tout à fait conforme aux photos et nous avions un magnifique point de vue sur la calanque de Méjean. Très bon point de départ pour découvrir les calanques de la côte bleu, je recommande.

Nous sommes venus à 2 pour visiter les calanques coté Mejean. La maison donne une vue magnifique sur le petit port de Méjean et dur Marseille au fond . Nous avons fait la randonnée Niolon-Ensuès-la-Redonne : magnifique mais assez difficile par endroit où on est exposé. prévoir 4:00 de marche avec dénivelé! La maison est fonctionnelle , à noter que l’accès à la chambre du bas se fait par un escalier en colimaçon à partir du séjour…. ( et la 3 em chambre n’en est pas une vraiment avec un rideau de séparation) La cuisine à tous les équipements. Il manque néanmoins des étagères dans les sdb. Etienne est très sympa à notre acceuil ! Pour 2 ou 2 couple c’est l’idéal.

Hallo, unser 14 tägiger Aufenthalt von Mitte bis Ende Juli war wunderbar. Bei Ankunft wurden wie bereits vom netten Eigentümer mit kalten Getränken und einer Survival-Ration empfangen, so dass wir nich hungrig und durstig zum Einkaufen fahren mussten. Das Haus ist durch 2 voneinander getrennten Ebenen mit 2 Balkonen perfekt geeignet für den Urlaub mit 2 Paaren. Sehr schön eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht in Küche, Bad und Wohnzimmer. Durch die Zugangsbeschränkung waren wir sehr privat in der Badebucht und sind jeden Tag morgens und abends Schwimmen und schnorcheln gegangen. Im angrenzenden Berghang kann man wunderbar wandern in Richtung Marseille. Die Farben der Côte Bleu sind herrlich und eine Fahrt mit dem petit train nach Marseille ist sehr zu empfehlen! Die gut erreichbaren Städte Ax en Provence, Martique, Arles, Avignon und Marseilles usw. sind sehr interessant, aber die kleinen weniger bekannten Orte sind ebenfalls sehr, sehr schön. Wir können die Gegend und das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder, Martina Westheide

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cette maison située à un endroit exceptionnel, avec d'agréables terrasses avec vue sur la baie, ombragées sous les pins et bercées du chant des cigales. La maison est très bien équipée, sur deux étages, la chambre du rez et son WC douche constituant presque un petit studio indépendant (idéal !) avec sa propre terrasse. L'accueil de notre hôte Etienne était à la fois charmant, chaleureux, généreux et discret. Ses indications pour l'accès étaient très utiles et précises. En résumé: nous avons navigué sur un océan de bonheur ~~~!

Freundlicher unkomplizierter Kontakt mit Etienne und Fanny. Die Terrasse mit Blick auf die Cote Bleue und Marseille einfach traumhaft. Von Grund auf machte das Haus einen sauberen Eindruck. Es fehlt 1x im Monat eine professionelle Reinigung insbesondere Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben hier sehr schöne Ferien verbracht. Etienne, der Vermieter, hat uns sehr nett empfangen und auch reichlich Tipps gegeben. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wirklich toll und man kann problemlos die Tage auf den verschiedenen Terrassen verbringen, ohne etwas zu vermissen. Die Gegend erlaubt viele Aktivitäten (Wandern, Schwimmen, am Strand liegen). Wer gerne Rad fährt (so wie ich), der sollte aber die Zufahrt nicht unterschätzen, immerhin 18% Steigung, gleich am Anfang. Ich bin meist mit dem Auto aus den Calanques gefahren und habe meine Touren dann von Ausserhalb gestartet. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!
