"Nice place above a nice bar. Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks. Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town. Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast."

"Place is ok for what it is but what isn’t ok is the noise, people banging on room doors and running off! Get they do a lot of weddings but that should not be affecting the other guests staying there. Just constant noise, drink people and thud thud thud from music. The spa is inaccessible when a wedding is on due to kids!"

"I must say… I was disappointed. I thought if I paid for a name like ‘Holiday Inn’ it would somehow be of a good standard…how wrong I was! When I saw my room (on the ground floor) the first thing I noticed was that it was not clean. The carpets looked grubby with stains and there were bits of debris on it like it hadn’t been vacuumed properly. The skirting boards & walls were quite marked and overall it was pretty disappointing.
