Far from the town but worth it

Spend one night here, with wife and child before in April. The building is beautiful. It is a good bit out from Marakesh, however they offer a taxi service into and out of town at a reasonable rate. We ate all meals here and the food was decent.

It's difficult to go without a car but quiet place and room is good enough for two people and interior also good and clean. But even it's 5 star hotel, breakfast is a bit disappointed. just some breads, yogurt, orange juice and coffee. It would be better they have some more options,like egg or fruit...

Small but leaves a big impression

We loved the whole experience, so we have arranged to go back twice next year. Only improvements from our perspective would be better quality food for vegans and vegetarians , plus some english language channels on the tv. The gardens and the pool are fabulous. All staff warm and friendly.

Vous cherchez le calme est bien c’est l’endroit idéal. Calme propreté service au top personnelle Hassan et Najia rien à dire merci beaucoup pour votre service gentillesse amabilité. Ils font tous pour vous soyez comme à la maison. Propreté calme piscine propre cadre magnifique hammam gratuit a réservé l’an veille bien chaud et relaxant pas loin de Marrackech à 10 minute en voiture. Nuit apaisante gardien super gentille. J’ai demandé des petits service payant mais sans regret cuisine sur place sur commande couscous moi qui est d’origine marocain il était délicieux tajine aussi bref Najia au top Un petit bémol pour le petit déjeuné il est pas terrible pour ma part moi qui est du matin et qui aime bien manger . Sincèrement je regrette pas une expérience apaisante après mes journée passer en ville Merci Kantzaro merci a l’équipe. À très bientôt

Séjour idyllique

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve, hors du temps. Dar Kantzaro est l'endroit idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer dans un lieu luxueux, verdoyant, calme et à prix défiant toute concurrence. Le personnel est fabuleux, disponible et très discret. Hassan, toujours à votre service, se charge de faire de votre séjour un moment des plus agréable. Najia la cuisinière rayonne derrière ses fourneaux, ses petits plats sont une merveille. Le petit joyau de cet endroit est le jardin verdoyant où se mêle oliviers, grenadiers, figuiers, palmiers et bien sûr la super piscine. Je vous recommande cet endroit fabuleux.

loved everything about it. I arrived with my daughter and her husband. We took the two rooms upstairs so we had the terrace to our selves. The Villa is in the middle of an olive garden. it was beautiful. The staff was great. It felt secure. We were there for 4 nights. I especially loved the dog quich. very well behaved and beautiful. This is a guest house and not a hotel.

It states that there is a buffet breakfast. It is served to you but very Carbohydrate heavy , no eggs or fruit or meats. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge, no slippers. Oh and you keep bashing your head or shoulders in the wooden arches on the doorframe (they look pretty but not practical0. The tissues are so cheap. We booked for three people but only had toiletries or one! I would recommend the haamam and massage. Its lovely.

A tranquil haven

This was our 4th hotel that we had booked for our 3 week holiday in Morocco. The hotel was tucked away from the main road, set in a peaceful location. We were the only guests for a proportion of our stay which meant we were free to use the various spaces created for guests. The manager Naima, what an amazing lady. From the very first moment she ensured the wife and I felt at ease. We chose to have an afternoon and evening meal on two separate days. These were cooked splendidly at time of our choice. Nothing was too much for Naima. As the hotel is a distance away from the main square we enquired about using local transport as the private taxi ride to the hotel cost us 200 dirhams one way. After flagging the number 26 or 261 bus we travelled to the square for a return journey costing just 12 dirhams. The bus was safe and clean to travel in. Again, Naima flagged the bus and provided written Arabic instructions for the bus driver to ensure we reached our destination. At this stage of our holiday we just wanted to relax and unwind and that is exactly what this hotel provided. At times a little boring and secluded but I guess that is really what we wanted after a hectic fortnight of excursions. Naima also arranged for a late checkout as we had an evening flight and a transfer to the airport. Highly recommend this hotel. Thankyou Naima.

Management nicht sehr kooperativ. Wir mussten verbal darum kämpfen ein Abendessen zu bekommen.(Wir waren gegen 14.00Uhr im Hotel) Viel zu kleine Portionen und sehr teuer. Frühstücksbuffet wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, gab es nicht. Die Aussenanlage könnte besser und gepflegter sein. Köchin Najiya und Kellner Hassan waren lediglich der einzigste Lichtblick und hatten ihr bestes gegeben. Bei Sonderwünschen war das Management jedoch nicht sehr kooperativ bis hin zu Unfreundlichkeit, vor allem von der Besitzerin des Hauses. Die hohe Bewertung ist auf jeden Fall nicht gerechtfertigt, da gibt eine ganze Reihe von Häusern die eine Klasse besser sind als dieses (bei gleichen Preis). Wir waren im Grossen und Ganzen enttäuscht und hatten mehr erwartet, vor allem wegen den zahlreichen guten Bewertungen !

Wonderful oasis

What a wonderful place ! A quiet oasis has a well kept garden. Rooms are spacious. Food is fresh daily with a varied menu. Staff make you feel relaxed and nothing is too much trouble for all who stay. We cannot wait to return!! Bridgette Dorset

Hôtel à découvrir!!

Nous avons passé un séjour (2 nuits) très agréable dans cet hôtel où l'accueil et le service étaient parfaits. La très aimable directrice et son équipe nous ont bichonnés à tel point que nous avons déjeuné et dîné sur place durant tout le séjour. Pour celles et ceux qui recherchent de la tranquillité, ce lieu qui est légèrement à l'écart du tumulte de Marrakech est tout simplement parfait pour les couples ou petites familles. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

2 nuits dans la palmeraie

Une oasis de luxe et de tranquillité pour finir notre séjour. Nous n'avons pas été déçus, la piscine et le jardin sont magnifiques, le personnel au petit soins et les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et confortables. Les repas y sont bons pour un prix très raisonnable. Mention spéciale pour Naima (la gérante), qui malgré une erreur dans notre réservation a tout mis en œuvre pour régler la situation et nous permettre de passer un très agréable séjour.

A great place for a relaxing stay near Marrakech

We spent a long weekend at the Dar Kantzaro. The hotel is situated about 15-20 minutes by taxi from Marrakech and is perfect for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech itself. The building is beautiful inside, decorated with ornate Moroccan decoration and has a very friendly and relaxed feel. The pool are is set in the garden, we felt the pool tiles would benefit from a good scrub but the water was clean (and quite cold!) The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, with nice Moroccan themed lunches, dinners and breakfasts available. The hotel are happy to organise taxi journeys, excursions etc on your behalf. It would make a perfect venue for a large family or group of friends to stay, as you'd have the place to yourself if you took all 6 rooms. If you need to make trips locally by taxi it will work out to be very expensive as they all come from Marrakech and will charge you for doing so.

Beautiful guest house outside Marrakech

Fantastic value luxury guest house. It's quite a drive from Marrakech centre, but perfect for relaxing away from the bustle of the city. Naima and the team couldn't have been more helpful, including arranging all our transport and a day trip into the mountains.

Ruhige Lage ausserhalb der Innenstadt.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 12 km ausserhalb der Medina von Marrakesch. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Garten und eine superguten Pool. Wer es ruhig haben will in der etwas chaotischen Stadt ist hier gut aufgehoben. Ein Mietwagen ist allerdings erforderlich, wenn man flexibel sein will.

A beautifull place to stay, outside Marrakech.

This place is a good place to stay.; Its 30 minutes ride outside Marrakech but its a realy worth it. The rooms are great, comfortable and spacious. The personel is very friendly and the meals they serve are very good. I will for certain return to this palce in the future.
