"Although this cabin was smaller than anticipated, it fully lived up to the expression of "small but mighty"! My husband and I had a few nights of a mini honeymoon here to get away from life stressors, anyone we know, and disconnect from our phones to settle into marriage- this cabin was exactly what we were looking for and more! Visiting the small businesses in both towns of Lansing and McGregor was a blast- I highly suggest chatting with the locals! We hope to stay here again soon to be able to hike at more of the nearby gorgeous forest preserves and parks! The hosts were very responsive to our questions and needs, and the cabin was very cozy- just make sure to check the weather!"

"We had a Wonderful Time at your location. Everything was exactly as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the deck (river front), the tiki hut for coffee & cocktails, the waterside firepit, and the indoors as well (spacious, clean & inviting). It was a great kitchen/living room for eating, drinking, conversation & games - with a wonderful view of the Mississippi out the wall of windows. We also enjoyed the winery (walkable) & Maiden Voyage boat tour, Pike's Peak & Effigy Mounds. Thank You!"

"Absolutely beautiful, quiet farm location. Lodgings are scrupulously clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was bigger than my bedroom! Lovely host gave us a quick tour of the property, and we met a 2-week old filly. We will stay here again!"
