"Ok so if you want a modern unfriendly hotel do not choose here but if you want a beautiful traditional chateau with themed rooms, admittedly some oddities as all old chateaus have but beautiful, and lovely staff with an amazing breakfast this is amazing as is Provins generally. Be advised you do need passable French to make things easier but if you are off to France guys it’s the least you can do!!"

"This property is two rooms next to a small hotel. There is no check-in desk, instead you are meant to fill in an online form and let them know your arrival time. We hadn't seen that instruction, and nobody answered when we phoned the number on the door at 8pm. Luckily a local was passing and was able to help contact the hotel and get us in. "We had a fantastic stay with David. His house was beautiful and we were able to use his huge garden to relax in for drinks and our own light meals. David was very hospitable and friendly and his breakfast was great. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We were sorry that we couldn't spend more than 3 days there. "We travelled with a group of 12 people of which half were teenagers. The house is fantastically catered for such a group. Everything you need is there and with it being located right by the river is an additional benefit for those enjoying a swim or use the watersport equipment available as part of the house. The rooms are absolutley astonishing and wonderfully decorated. The host was super friendly and very helpfull and always available for any questions. A accomodation I can only recommend."

"The apartment is situated just a ten minute walk from the centre of town and Provins has great history to explore. From its amazing fortified walls, to Caesar’s tower and many churches and buildings. Fontainebleau and many other beautiful places are located within an hour’s drive. We could easily have stayed longer and will certainly be going there again."
