"Nice old hotel in the centre of Harrogate with limited parking available. On check-in was allocated room #138 - the noise and vibration from the kitchen extraction fan outside the window was extreme 43dB - 50dB. Was informed by receptionist that it should turn off when the kitchen closed. Mercifully they kindly offered us another room #265 - worlds apart from #138 and a peaceful room at <20dB "

"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast. Beautiful building inside and out and a very convenient short walk into beautiful Harrogate. "

"It had not been made clear that I’d need photo ID in order to check in. The bed was very squeaky (metal frame) and there was a strong smell of damp coming from the shower room because the extractor didn’t work. Otherwise, the staff were extremely pleasant and it was a very quiet place to stay."

"Very nice stay again,we must be in double figures now, very comfortable, excellent location. Good checking in process, only slight criticism was at checkout when there was no thanks, or enquiring if we had a good stay etc. Minor issue though across a very nice visit"

"Stayed with my grandson after watching paw patrol. Lovely clean hotel in a perfect position next to the arena and the multi storey car park. It was my grandson birthday and as a lovely gesture they left a card, drinks and sweets. "
