"Loved the spaciousness of our room. The location was excellent - we enjoyed using the walking trail from France to Basel. The shopping center was also very convenient. The only negative was the room furnishings. The sofa was quite worn, with a bit of a greasy look to it. The breakfast buffet was so-so. There are plenty of places to eat downstairs. We did not eat at the restaurant except for the (overpriced) buffet."

"We stayed here for 5 days , excellent location, situated by all 3 borders, tram station outside, breakfast was continental,but good selection, staff very helpful and polite, short walk to local train station. Overall a brilliant location for everything."

"We had a nice room on the 18th floor with beautiful views. The room was a great size with a large bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had generous selections. Would definitely stay there again."

"The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were warm and professional. We had dinner at the restaurant for two nights, which was characterized by excellent service. A bonus was the small pool on the property that cooled us off in the 38°C heat."

"Hochblauen has just been newly renovated and it does not disappoint. The new hotel is beautiful in every way. The wellness center is incredibly relaxing with breathtaking views. Speaking of views, you have them from literally every spot on this property. Just beauty as far as the eye can see in every direction. I can’t recommend this place enough. A special shout out to the staff at the restaurant/bar who are all extremely friendly and of course the hotel manager Mehmet who makes you feel like you are visiting him in his very own home. Go here. You won’t regret a single second of your stay."
