"The staff we came into contact with were really helpful and friendly. Eager to assist with any questions. For that we are very grateful. There is a lack of staff in the hotel area so you have to find them . The grounds are stunning so beautiful, however for wheel chair users the gardens are not at all friendly and no signs to suggest where to go. "Location was excellent. The cliff railway is unique. We’re were visiting the Kinver edge rock house National trust, it was only 9 miles away which was good. Nice pub restaurants close by. "A pleasant boutique style hotel. Staff were very helpful and polite but unfortunately it was clear they had not been properly trained in table service and wine pouring. Apparently they have a temporary manager at present and it is clear they need an experienced and enthusiastic professional to maximise its potential. "

"Overall good stay, only real issue being unable to take the paid for breakfast, would be a good idea to ensure breakfast times are stipulated pre booking as have been changed to a later (8am) start. Host did provide a wrapped sausage sandwich and drink though. Room comfortable with all amenities to a very good standard . "

"Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day.
