When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. The strong odor of musty/mold greeted us when we opened the door. Host told us to just open some windows. Then we found there was a ladder type stairs to go up to the sleeping area. The guesthouse was clean and very cutely decorated. Marcel was very accommodating and kind. We didn't have much time to visit him because we were so busy, but he checked in with us frequently.
