"Place was a bit tired looking but nice. Staff friendly. My disappointment was that the floors in our room were not very clean.Feet were dirty from walking on the floors. The highlight was the amazing breakfast."

"AVOID this hotel until Owners spend the money to install safes. We read other reviews that people had their money and personal items stolen but didn’t think it would happen to us. The problem is they do not have the air-conditioning on when you arrive and then when you are at the beach, the staff comes in and a large amount of money was taken from our room which was very disappointing as this was the beginning of our trip. The management of hotel del Sol should invest in safes and implement very strict rules to avoid guests having personal items and money stolen. The hotel is beautiful and right in front of the water, which is amazing and a 20 minute ride to the cruise ship stop but NOT worth it until they make improvements.."

"The staff is very rude. He barely look at you. He does not care about the guests at all, even less trying to be helpful. The towels were starting to rip, bed sheets were very old. The power of the building went out during the night and an alarm was blaring for good 30 minutes. Once power came back on, there were no TV channels available. The place is well located but it is a floor in a very old building with a very unfriendly staff. The breakfast is a joke with only bananas, danish and a Coffee machine I would never come back to this hotel and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone!"
