"The staff were very accommodating when we arrived ahead of schedule. The room was clean but a tad small. The bathroom was very modern, best of all the bed was very comfortable and the room had no road noise. We had a great sleep. Breakfast was packaged foods and yogurt in the room. They offered a private transfer to the cruise ship for a very reasonable price. Be aware that you must check out at ten, so we waited a bit at the port. This property is just steps from the boardwalk, fabulous dining and right across from the museum. An overall good choice for the night before a cruise"

"Hotel Smart Cruise is in a brilliant location. Close enough to the port without being near its rougher edges. The hotel was incredibly clean: immaculate in fact. The bed very comfortable and the shower/bathroom very large. We used the hotel provided transfer from the airport to the hotel yesterday and today used it again to get to the port. All very efficient and the two vehicles used were modern and clean. Would highly recommend to other cruise passengers."

"Francesca, our property manager, was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She contacted us days prior, and gave us places to store our luggage upon arrival due to us arriving to Civitavecchia early (this is more of a guest house and not a hotel, so there is not a place to store luggage until you check in). We completely forgot to bring a power adapter (we are from America, and were boarding an American-operated cruise line, so didn’t think to pack one) and Francesca kindly let us borrow hers without issue. The room was very clean, modern, and kept up to date; it was quaint, but exactly what we needed before boarding our cruise. The A/C unit ran very well once we had it going for a little while. Overall, we think it was a great place to stay near the cruise port for the affordable price we paid."
