"Do not let the price scare you away!! This is probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at in awhile! The front desk attendant Julie was super helpful and friendly! It was very nice to stay at a hotel that didn’t smell like cigarettes or marijuana! Yes the pool and restaurant are closed which I am sure is reflected in the price but it’s still a great location!! "

"Interior decorating was spot on. Not enough cookware. Washer and dryer costs $1.50:each; first VRBO we’ve ever had to pay Bed was comfortable. Only one large closet, however, rod was very high…needs to be lowered for average height folks. Recommend not reserving ground floor units…very noisy when upstairs unit is occupied. "

"Second time staying at this location I would recommend it to anybody. When was it very clean? We have the studio room which I would recommend is worth the extra dollars we travel back-and-forth New York to North Carolina twice a month and stayed at different facilities around the same area this is a halfway point for us, I found a second home here at Fairfield, unless things change, this will be the location permanently for us"

"Wanted to stay downtown Marietta for the Sternwheel Festival and the location of this property was perfect ! It was clean - questions were answered promptly, beds were comfy - and white noise machines were even provided (it was Sternwheel weekend so I was prepared for that anyway) It was so nice - I've already booked it for 2025 ! A couple things to mention if you're planning on staying here - bring a block for your chargers - we had cords but no block - quick trip to CVS one block away fixed it - but it was unusual to not have a place to recharge. And the steps - it's a beautiful apartment, full of history, but that also comes with steps that aren't exactly level going up. I just thought it added to the charm of the place - and there are handrails - but if you have an older traveler - there is no elevator ! A well deserved 5 star stay - can't wait for next year ! "
