I stayed in a container that had been converted to a hotel room. It was perfect size for one person although it might be snug for two people! The furnishings were super cute and the sunset and sunrise were spectacular. Each unit has a rooftop seating area where you can go and watch the sunrise/sunset. Definitely recommend!

The lady at the front office was so authentic and friendly! She really made us feel welcomed and was very responsive. The view and serenity is beautiful! We stayed in a glamping unit facing Alpine with a rooftop that made it very unique too!

A definite must experience!

Glamping is definitely something to try! Loved the aesthetics of the container decor. We really enjoyed the open area on top and the relaxing large deck right out of the front door. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and watched the beautiful sunrise.

This place is a must stay. You check in at the Riata Motel front desk. The young man working it is very polite and accommodating. He even walked over to our cabin to show us how to operate the air conditioning. The coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator were all a great plus. Sitting up on the rooftop deck having coffee at sunrise is priceless. We will definitely be back. And, bed is so comfortable.

Very interesting and unique way to stay in Marfa. It was very quiet and easy to get to. We loved the view out of the windows and felt it was remote enough for us to unwind. The wifi was a bit difficult but that was due to a lot of recent storms in the area. I had to reset the router and it is password protected unlike how the desk said it was unlocked. However the password for the regular wifi works on the specific containers router.

First impressions - no info about checking in. Had to call to find out where/how to check in. Room was obviously small - it’s a container! But the queen-sz bed was too soft and unstable. Description: sit on the foot-edge; the head of the bed would rise up. Lay on the right side; the left side would rise up???? I thought the star gazing would be magnificent from the rooftop but the large electrical pole and cable were intrusive, the highway was so close the headlights shone in our eyes and the chairs uncomfortable.
